Getting Started

What is the difference between plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery?

How do I know if I’m a good candidate?

You must be in good overall health, psychological health. Ideally non-smokers are better candidates. You should also have realistic expectations for the type of cosmetic enhancement you’re considering. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, you should discuss openly with your surgeon in order to determine your level of risk when undergoing surgery.

Is plastic or cosmetic surgery safe?

As with all surgeries, there may be some risk involved depending on your intended type of surgery and your overall health. Dr. Huynh is a fellowship-trained and double-board certified facial plastic surgeon with over 20+ years of experience. He and his highly trained medical staff will ensure that any potential risks are minimized.

What does the healing process look like?

Due to the fact that it is surgery you will likely experience some soreness and discomfort during your post-op healing process. If your surgery is more extensive the healing process will naturally be longer. Dr. Huynh will guide you through your post-op instructions to ensure that your healing is as comfortable as possible.

Available Options

Am I too old for surgery?

There is no age that is considered too old for surgery.  What is more important is your overall health status rather than your age.  Our practice is proud to have been able to provide cosmetic surgery to patients ranging from teenagers seeking cosmetic nose surgery to men and women well into their 80’s seeking rejuvenation surgery to look and feel younger.

Do you provide help with insurance?

What should I look for when choosing a plastic or cosmetic surgeon?
